I have a TVM Early Virginia... While overall I really like the gun and the craftsmanship behind it, the front bolt hole the holds the lock and side plate together wasn't drilled straight. I have to literally hammer the bolt in to get it in. I eventually gave up doing that because I was afraid of damaging the gun, so I used bees wax to seal the side plate hole. It really only needs one bolt to keep the lock and side plate in anyway. I also had to send the lock back twice for repair and still have an issue with the double set locks that I need to have a smith look at.

I seem to be a bad luck exception.
