Hello from South San Francisco, Caleefornia. It is NOT S.F., we are about 10 miles south of the SF and a different county. I Have followed this forum for some time, but not registered until now. I've got a number of muzzleloaders and am new to the black powder sport, so I may end up with a question or two.
Welcome from the North Coast..

Welcome from the Live Free or Die State. New Hampshire
I feel your pain. My wife and I lived in the SF Bay Area for 40 years. We took all we could take and escaped about 7 years ago. We wish we would have left sooner.

I lived in California 1960-1983, and LOVED living there. Every day I would wake up to a clear blue sky and thank god that I lived in California. I left the state in 1983 for boot camp, and never moved back. But I continued to play and ski in California until the mid-1990s, until I moved out east. Sadly, haven't been back. Sold my San Jose house for a mint, and retired. Some of the best days of my life were in California.

Global warming and drought have really changed California, and I'm kinda glad that I don't live there anymore. I remember the days when the Tahoe ski areas had a 20-foot snowpack all winter. Those days are long gone.
