Thad, if Jack doesn't get back to you let me know, I know the story on his Baler, we have another guy in our club with a baker that was built by Jess himself at the rifle shop, that thing is a tack driving pumpkin ball chunking beauty.

Nice! I finished up my Baker a little while ago and am anxious to get out and shoot it. Of coarse I had to watch Sharpes Rifles again!

Thanks! It was a TRS kit, more or less. It came with an 1823 lock kit, and I wanted to build the earlier 1805 version. So I waited for about 2 1/2 years and finally got a lock. The patchbox and lower ramrod pipe are originals.

Is the bayonet also from the rifle shop? I have an Indian made gun awaiting a Colrain barrel install but failed to buy the bayonet with my original purchase.
