Yes, a Contender sight will fit on a Hawken. Sort of... Leave the rear sight base on your Hawken and drive the hinge pin out. Unscrew the elevation screw and you can replace your Hawken rear sight blade with a Contender rear sight blade. Just be aware that the Contender sight blades come in several heights. You'll probably want a low or maybe medium Contender sight blade.
