So, I bought a TC shotgun online a couple years ago and when it arrived, the hammer was broken off, the screw was completely sheared. I also noticed that the lock doesn't feel nearly as robust as on my other guns. This is my first TC muzzleloader, are TC locks generally "fragile " like this? Thanks

Most of those parts are hardened if I’m not mistaken, so they’re probably fairly brittle, but I wouldn’t call them fragile. I have a bunch of T/C’s and the only thing I’ve had break are the heads of the screws in the lock, they too seem brittle.
