TC Hawken sight screws

Anybody know what size the screws are for the factory TC Hawken sights? I buggered one getting it out to add a replacement primitive sight.

6x40 rings a bell, but I'm not sure.
Take the one good screw you have over to the hardware store and try it on a few nut's,
might be 8x40.

I don't remember the size, but Track of the Wolf sells them. The hardware stores I went to didn't have anything that small.

I believe you can find every single T/C screw on Ebay. I believe there are a bunch of guys buying complete guns and stripping them down to the last screw.

Call TC customer service and tell them what screw you need. They will send you a replacement for free.

My TOW cataloge lists 5/40 screws for thimbles and underribs but does not list sight screws! :idunno: :idunno:

Thanks everyone. I checked TOW's site and they list them, 6x48 screws. I ordered 4 of them. Have my eyes on another TC hawken. These things are addictive.
