I think perhaps this should be called as a "65-caliber Lizzie Borden Axe Musket", LOL!

Pretty cool item, but I did not buy it, just not practical as a shooter and I'm a shooter 1st and collector 2nd. Yet at least as compared to a 'blanket gun, these did exist for real.

Aw, why not! "Practical as a shooter" didn't factor into some of your other acquisitions (handgonne, 18th cent grenade launcher). :cool:

COOL is right. Yes, it's not practical. But neither is a blunderbuss really. LOL I guess it falls in the category of want versus need. LOL And we all know that one urge can be just as strong as the other in this hobby. And looking at this has me sorely tempted :(
