Heck yeah, those are good folks. They have setup at Kempton in the past. They're from somewhere in PA. Very pleasant to deal with.
A second thumbs up for Tiger-Hunt. Another good outfit is Dunlap Woodcrafts in Virginia.

I have purchased from them before. I find their prices are a little high but that is weighed against the fact that you can see pictures of the stock before buying and the dimensions and grain orientation is given. I have never had a problem with them delivering in a timely fashion.
Located just north east of Johnstown , Pa.. Know this guy personally for 40 yrs. , top notch business. Any gunstock wood. Tiger Hunt.
That's all good to know. For walnut and some other wood for half stocks Cecil Fredi in Las Vagas is also good to deal with.
If you want an unusual stock wood , California Claro walnut is interesting . Few if anyone will be able to identify what your gun is made with. I built a few Jager rifles with claro , they went quickly.
I've built two unmentionables with Claro and I really like it. It has a nice tone or color and is good to work with. It would look good on a nice half stock.

i have a Mauser needing a new claro stock. will give a look at that Commie fornia wood. most of the distributors i used when i lived there are gone.
Claro used to be popular decades ago for custom bolt rifles. It can be a little gaudy.

Long rifle stocked in olive wood? Mesquite revolver grips? Spalted knife scales? c'mon down, but you will be doing the pick and choose work.
First time there bought locust for raised garden beds. 15 Years later it still looks new.
