I've got a Traditions Pennsylvania rifle that I've cut the comb down on so I could line the sights up easily. Having done that I need to remove the old finish and refinish the stock. How do I remove the brass inlays in the stock? Are they just glued in? Maybe the first question should be do I need to remove the inlays? Anyone done this?

I would not remove them. Just repolish when finished with the sanding. 0000 steel wool is all the finish they need.

Wick is right, you don't take them out, work right over them & polish them when finished if you desire them shiney.
