Beautiful smoothbore, in my honest opinion.

For what it's worth as one reference, mine is a true .620" bore and is very accurate with a .600" ball and Oxyoke .020" precut/prelubed patch. (they actually measure .022").

Mine is also a 62 cal and I will also be trying .60 rb's with a few different patch sizes. What do you use for a turkey load?

MLF member 'George" has an excellent website of information & experience, which he willingly shares for free with fellow muzzleloading enthusiasts, named: "The Versatile Smoothbore"
http://home.insightbb.com/~bspen/SmoothboreLoads.html

I started with the turkey load in his article, and made a couple tweaks to fine tune it in my particular .62cal.
For example, I got a bit tighter pattern with 2 Oxyoke 1/8" wool OP wads, than with one larger full size 1/2" fiber cushion wad.
Check it out and book mark it...a wealth of information...and hat's off to George !

RD, that's a beauty. Things, apparently, don't
change much at Centermark. I got mine 15 or more yrs. ago and except for being slightly darker it's about the same and mine shoots great with ball or shot but especially ball.
