Just got a new stainless nipple for my GPR. I noticed the hole is smaller then the stock nipple. Should I leave it and see how it works or drill it out a little?

I'd leave it alone and just use it as is. Your old nipple may be worn oversize from use or it's tolerance may have been large from the "get-go".

Many people seem to have a need to open up the nipple. IMHO, you really don't want to or need to do that. It now only strains the lock as the chamber pressure, pushes the hammer back. If the gun has trouble igniting the powder and the cap is going off, the problem is usually dirt or other contamination in the breech.
