Does anyone know were I can get a breech/tang for a double barrel shotgun. I would like and try to build a shotgun this winter.

Within the last year. I'm on their mailing list and they sent out this information at that time. It seems there is a new found interest in making SxS with the old SxS damascus barrels.

I myself have a set of 32" 12 gauge barrels for making a SxS flinter. I would have perfered a set of 20's or 16's just to help keep the lock area thiner, but for what I paid for the barrels (free) I can at least give it a try.

I bought the following book last winter and spent many hours reading and researching.

Recreating the Double Barrel Muzzleloading Shotgun, second edition, by William R. Brockway
