Things like this don't come up very often especially in mutilated condition. It will be very interesting to see what it goes for.

There was a large quanity of broken guns found in a Town in Europe some time in the late 90's these guns were rounded up at the end of WWII by the American Army everything from old wheel locks and flint locks to percussion guns the army layed them all along the curb on the road surface an drove a tank over the muzzels bending the barrels and shatering wood... I saw some of these at the Allen town gun show years ago.... this might have been one of those where the only thing left to do was make it a carbine.....

The sawn off wheely rifle went for GBP 1750 which was a lot more than I'd have paid :idunno:
