Got the replacement rear sight for a Traditions Deerhunter flinter. It works ok, no complaints about function.

Had as similar sight ( Williams) on my T. C. 56 cal smoothbore. Took it off and went with the original T. C. adjustable rear sight and a partridge front sight.
The Williams kept coming loose.
Didn't see any advantage to the Williams sight or to the painted sights.

This is just for paper and critters. My eyes aren't too bad, so if it isn't a step up from the TC factory sights, I'll stick with what I've got. I just know the peep sight on my M1 is a lot easier to use than what most bp rifles carry.

Had one on a Lyman, works great. Fast sight acquisition for hunting, legal in pa before the law changes, now u can use a regular peep.

It looks pretty neat. The front sight sure doesn't look like the Lyman. I enjoyed the link to their sight.
