Looking to cut my own wads for my revolvers.....can someone list the actual diameters for .31 cal. , .36 cal. , and .44 cal. wads? If I remember right, they run a little bigger than the corresponding calibers. Any and All input will be welcome.

This is where your own digital caliper would be of more benefit than my suggestion. Measure the groove diameter of your barrel or the chamber mouth of your cylinder.

If you want to try premade wads, Circle Fly has wads in diameters suitable for your revolvers.

31 caliber - 0.320
36 caliber - 0.380
44 caliber - 0.455

Also, I see Ox Yoke makes WONDER SEALS that go over the ball instead of WONDER WAD that goes over the powder. Anyone use these instead of the old style wads that go over the powder?

Never tried the Wonder Seals. BTW, setting up to make your own components in case they become scarce can't hurt. That's why I make my own felt wads, lube, and can cast round ball as needed.

There is a chart here someplace that lists that information for sizes and after that try Amazon..
