Powder horn with strap from Cutfingers

Made this powderhorn. Strap is from forum member Cutfingers. Made the horn rustic, left file marks in it. Walnut plug and stopper. Hand forged staple. Handmade walnut nails for plug.

You wouldn't be disappointed if you did. It's very well made and he was great to deal with.

Its a nice looking setup. I have an original that shows chatter marks from being scraped with a knife. Now you need to get some good old patina on the rifle to match the kit.

Thank you. Yep I agree, working on that. Take it out shooting in the rain and snow as often as I can. Also let my son use it in flintlock season, so it got a few dings and scrapes rather quickly!

Thank you. I built the trade gun from a plank. 42" Rice Type G barrel, Kibler English lock and weighs 6lbs. Had lots of help from @Rob M. during my build.
