Hey! I am wanting to have a simple custom shooting pouch made and posted an ad over in the classifieds.

Does anyone know the names of any pouch makers that I could contact to have it made?

Any and all recommendations or contact info would help me a great deal. Thanks so much and take care!

-Smokey

"a simple custom shooting pouch made," - the O.P.

What is "custom" about the Leatherman, October Country, Crazy Crow, or any of the other vendors?

@Smokey Plainsman I would reach out to Corey Joe Stewart. I think he may be a member here but doesn't post much, could be wrong, he is often on the ALR and has an Etsy shop, Longbranchlongrifles - Etsy

I have two horns from him that I like very much and have admired a few of his bags, but I make my own bags.
There are many talented makers here and on ALR, go through the craftsman section looking for posts about making bags, you'll find those guys. Can't go wrong with anything made by @Capt. Jas. but he makes some top of the line stuff, value/cost would be high but worth it. Mark Elliot is also a top notch maker, again not sure he is on this forum but is on ALR, he makes an excellent rendition of the "Gussler" bag which defines "simple." Look up “Blackpowderpouches”. His name is Larry and he makes some beautiful bags. I happen to know him and have seen and handled lots of his work. Good stuff.

I like the October Country pouches. Last year as I was leaving a local store I noticed a man with a walker coming toward the store so I waited and held the door open for him. He thanked me and I said: " Just one old buckskinner helping another." He replied : " how did you know I was a buckskinner?
" I said it was the October Country leather purse he was carrying!'. October Country bags have many uses!
