I'm trying to help my Brother, who is a modern gun shooter, and only owns one BP gun. He just needs a screw that is missing. What's the best source(s) to purchase? Thanks for any help. Rick. :hatsoff:

Numeric has most parts if you can nail down the maker. They may have a site also most if not all modern replicas have exploded drawings and parts.

If it's an Italian-made replica, chances are the screw will be metric. Go find a well-stocked hardware store (some of the Ace Hardware stores have good metric inventory). Buy a screw with proper diameter and thread pitch. You can trim it to length yourself, and also spin it in a drillpress or power drill in order to file and shape the screwhead to fit your application. Fire blue and you're done - no waiting for the delivery truck to come.
