All photos are from the person that traded it to me. I don’t have many pics of the rifle and he did a wonderful job of capturing all the details.
This is a beautiful hand built rifle. Built by Phil and his dad. Unfortunately as many of you know Phil passed away some years ago. However, it’s not often one of his rifles come up for sale so here’s your chance to own one. It appears everything on this rifle was handmade except for the barrel and the lock. The wood is fully carved and all metal parts are engraved. The lock appears to be a large silver from Jim Chambers. The rifle has a straight barrel in .45 caliber. The stock is nicely stained a dark reddish brown. The maple has some nice figure in it as well. Brass patchbox functions as it should. Looking to downsize a little and only wanting to sell this rifle. No trades. Will build a custom small wood crate for it to ship. Looking for $2750 obo plus the cost of shipping and insurance if you want it. Of course willing to do a face to face deal if you’re local. I’m in Tamaqua, PA. The northeast part of the state. 45 mins north of Dixon’s. Thanks for looking !
