Before I start, I want to state up front I am doing a LOCAL SALE only, although I will drive an Hour and meet in the middle. I’m in the Albany, NY area.

So, I am selling a Pedersoli 1861 Springfield in great shape. It only has about 25 Maxie’s fired from it. I also will include a bunch of accessories that I have for it..ranging at around $150. I have moved on to a different time period and she just sits in the closet.

Anyway, I’m looking to get $700 for the rifle and accessories. Thanks for looking.

Someone asked what the darkness around the nipple was, which I have taken out for storage, and have an extra, I came from what I believe is musket cap splatter, for lack of a better word. It hasn’t effected or hurt the barrel other than looking like a stain. Period. Plus has always been taken care of in my short time of owning and always pulled out of its case looked over and recoated with barricade inside and out.
Thanks, Joe

That's exactly what the black on the barrel is. It can easily be removed with steel wool or a nylon type scrub pad. I get the black stuff on my Pedersoli Springfield every time I shot it. Does no harm.
