Good stuff. I'd rather hunt squirrels and rabbits than go deer hunting. An age thing I reckon. More action and way less trouble. Plus we don't have to get up so early. I have a story in Muzzle Blast about rabbit hunting with a flintlock rifle. Long time ago.

As I age any day or time in the woods is great. It is very tough for me to get out anymore. Crippled up, heart issues. Congestive heart failure chronic arthritis. But it’s good to get out.
Used to I never NEVER missed an opening day of any season.
Loved rabbit hunting. Squirrel hunting. Bird and grouse hunting. Deer hunting in all the seasons.
Traveled to go deer hunting. Bird hunting
All things hunting.
