please let me know if the buyer does not purchase the brass. My father obtained one in early '60s that has been handed down to my oldest son. He has expressed an interest in shooting. I have seen the brass (and plastic shells too) for it but we have not purchased any yet as we / I just don't know what bullet to utilize with the gun.

Could you post what bullet he used. I would be very helpful

Because it is a breechloading externally capped pre 1865 gun which meets all the requirements of this site.
