I'm pretty excited. This is going to be my first kit. I was going to get the fully carved version on plain Maple and was all ready to hit the button. Last minute I decided to go with Extra Fancy Maple with no carving. I think what changed my mind was watching one of Mr. Kibler's stock finishing videos on a beautiful figured Maple stock with no carving and it was spectacular. It didn't need carving.
I plan to do a build log here if that's okay. As I said, it's my first kit so I will have questions. It looks like there is a 2 to 3 week lead time so I'll be getting my work bench ready and watch more videos.
