The Northwest is over for this year. Good weather and a good time. The most significant happening was in the Blue Jacket match. It was won by a ten year old shooting a rifle his great grandfather had made for his father when his father was 10. Yes a ten year old outshot all of us old men and women who shot! He will never make a poker player! You could tell by the look on his face when he handed his shingle to the range officer that he had a winner !Hank had a week that he will remember for the rest of his life! The rest of the week he shot bow and would not move up to the junior stake he insisted on shooting from the men"s stake. And still won every time. There will be a future for our organization as long as we have youngsters getting involved!
