I know this sight isn't cool on a muzzeloader but I can't shoot like I did when younger with good vision. If I could find more peepsights by Spence I would be set but can't. So this will not look right but it's the best I can come up with. If I could do machine tool I would make my own . Pic below I have the mounting figured out so don't worry about explaining all that. Thanks tap on pic it's the middle rifle. Top is same peep but modified.

The way I would probably mount it would be make a bar that can be screwed into bp just behind the barrel and shaped downward at necessary angle and mount this sight to it.kinds like this Spencer peep I have.Tap pic middle rifle top is same peep modified

A friend of mine just bought an old 1800's caplock with a peep mounted on a single stem that is threaded into the tang. No windage adjustment but it looks original and not bad. Old guys have been having vision problems forever so it's nothing new.
