Recently acquired, restored, and shot my first muzzleloader - and I am totally hooked! Recent convert from long range shooting, and having fun getting back to the basics.

I’ve learned an awful lot here already! Thanks for the wisdom and information Gents.

54 cal Lyman GPR. Had a bad crack through the wrist. Injected West Systems G-Flex, finished with Minwax Antique Oil Finish and Renaissance wax. Chased the nipple threads and installed a Hot Shot.

Came out nice and shoots great!
