So last Saturday I took my Uberti 1860 Army out for the first time. I have shot handguns for many years but this was the first time shooting a black powder revolver. I bought it on a whim, and am I ever glad I did!

And I am hooked. That was some of the best shooting ever! Talk about fun. There was a couple of other fellows out at the range that had never shot a bp revolver either. I let each of them shoot it and their smiles were from ear to ear as well.

It's going to be a fun, and smokey, summer.

Hmmmm. Now maybe an 1851 Navy........

Believe me, it gets worse (better). :haha:

You will start with grabbing the 1851, then it'll be an 1862, then a 1849, then a Dragoon, then a Walker...

Yep, in a couple yrs or so you'll have one of each. Might as well go ahead and schedule the purchase dates :haha:

686, Yes it is great isn't it? Like you... I am also new to BP revolvers. I started with an 1860 Pietta a year ago. I now own 2 and and saving for a 1851 Navy. Like you I bought mine on a "whim" having never shot BP revolver before. I got so hooked, that on the first time out I shot up all of my round balls and ran out of felt wads also. I did not want to stop shooting that day.Modern handguns are great but shooting BP revolvers is just something special. I also have to give a "shout out" to the folks on this site. They are all a wealth of BP knowledge. So from a fellow addict...welcome to the addiction.

The above is a great example of a well-supported addiction. :haha:

Ok! Own up....where are the rest of them???
I wish I knew.

11 of the revolvers in that photo were stolen about 2 years ago.

The only ones the anal orifice didn't take was the Walker, the 3rd Model Dragoon, the Rogers & Spencer and a Speller & Burr. :cursing:
