I’m not much interested in hand guns, and so only paid glancing interest in these.
I was taken aback when I went to the Arabia shipwreck and there were barrels of boot pistols, they were far more popular then I ever guessed
There was a lot of poker playing on those river boats. I'm sure 'pocket and boot' pistols would have been prevalent.
 
I just wanted to say I got the pistol today and I'm real happy with it. Some people think they are ugly - maybe so - but I like stuff like that!
He even included a home made holster that's pretty darn nice. It's plain and functional, just like those pistols.
Not sure "boot pistol" would be such a good name for it though. It's sort of big for that, I would walk funny with it in my boot.
