I recently acquired three black powder pistols (my first), two Pietta .44 cal revolvers (1858 Army) and one CVA Optima .50 cal hunting single shot pistol with a scope. Today I reloaded three cylinders for the Piettas and used a special mix of lamb tallow and beeswax to seal/lubricate. Looking forward to learning more about these marvelous weapons.
