Hello everyone! Checking in from Western, PA. We are in our flintlock season currently. I have been looking for a good place to learn more about flintlock muzzleloaders beyond my Hawken 50 caliber that I have. My son is hunting with me this year, so we are excited about the prospect of building a gun together.

Welcome From South of Meadville Pa! There are some clubs and gun makers around the area to go and check out. I am going to a shoot this Sunday in Garland Pa if your interested? You will learn a ton from the group.

I recently went to Cooperstown trading post. He had Green Mountain barrels. New/old stock. He also had a good selection of L&R locks. Barrels were priced around $200. & a Siler I looked at was $225. He also had a few rough stocks, & a roughed inletted stock.. I didn't ask the price as I was just interested in a barrel & lock..
