I'll second that opinion. I got to talk extensively with Roy this year at Dixon's Fair, and I came away impressed by his craftsmanship and his genuine nature. This rifle is another example of his talent. Congrats!
 
My first group was a ragged hole at 40 yards (Six o’clock hold and POI was an inch to the right. I’m not moving the rear sight until I shoot some more concentrated groups.), only 55 grains with a .525 ball and spit-patched pillow ticking. Serious range time was limited at my friend’s property due to guys showing up with AR’s and glocks, so after my first group, it ended up being a plinking session, which is till fun. I just have more work to do before really developing a load.
