Well, just finished minute’s ago. My first kit build. After I wiped a bit of Baracade on the barrel, I felt lost. I, being a novice at this, was sad it was complete. At that moment I didn’t want it to be..oh well, I love shooting ML’s but, I really think I enjoyed the staining, sealing, finishing, graying the barrel, so on so on and so on a bit more. Again oh well.
Here she is. Thanks to all that helped answering my questions, especially Gunny

You are in trouble now! If you feel sad when you finish your first rifle it only means one thing. Its time to buy a bunch of tools and build one from a blank. It lasts a lot longer when you do it that way.

Thanks all, will get out a soon as "work" allows me. Home Depot Retail.. Clear day next Monday with out appointments. Can't wait.

Very well done! I, too, have been wanting to do a Trade Gun. Who did you get the kit from and how long is the barrel?

Thanks, Dixie and 36”. I may have chosen to get the complete gun over the kit if I was shopping again. Granted, I could and did customize it to my liking. But, money wise it actually cost me a couple hundred more than just buying a completed gun,,, supplies and tools.
