Just finished my first build over the Christmas holidays, started this a couple years ago and finally finished it.
Pecatonica left hand Virginia rifle 38" 50cal swamped barrel with iron furniture.
I think it turned out pretty good...what do you think?

Very nice! Did you need to do any machining work or all hand work on the metal and barrel? I like their kits but am a bit intimidated using their kit on a first build. Also looks like the stock was inlet more than I would expect out of the box. Tell us your thoughts on the kit

All work done by hand
The swamped barrel, ram rod channel and lock were rough inletted, I also had them cut the dovetails for the sights and install the underlugs on the barrel, it was a bit intimidating but there are no other options for a lefty...take your time and go slow is my best advice
The Pecatonica River Long Rifle Supply kit was awesome Doug and the guys there are easy to work with.
