I've been collecting American conflict rifles and handguns for some time and recently being a new-bee on musket loading black powder firearms, and I'm hooked!!! I just love 'em!! No doubt will be searching next for a Kentucky Long Gun or Brown Bess, in the near future. Anyway just want to share a video short shooting both, all 100% originals, 1863 Springfield Type 2 (stamped 1864) Rifle and M1842 U.S. Johnson Percussion Pistol (dated 1854). The history they hold must be amazing! They are my favorites by far and loads of fun shooting them.
