Yah I know there really is no such thing historically but then my knife is not historical. It is probably blasphemy in some eyes. I found the Buck 135 Caper to be perfect. I may even put a cocobolo handle on it. Just love this little knife so.much I own the brushes stainless, the black coated one and the orange coated one. Anyone familiar with this model?

Can we see it please?

Her's my patch knife, it's a Buck, doesn't have a number, I don't care if it's not pc, it works and that's what matters to me. It sat around for years collecting dust until I decided to put it to good use.

I hadn't seen this one, but I can see why you'd like it. The blade profile and length, as well as the grip shape make a lot of sense for a patch knife. Maybe just put some wood or bone grips on it to make it look a little more traditional.

I have some bocote and some cocobolo that might look pretty snazzy. Even on the stainless one there is a stainless looking Buck version of cerakote that I will remove. Guess it is a fairly tough coating.
