I don't know why I can't find what I am looking for, maybe I'm calling it the wrong thing, so maybe y'all can help me find one.

Looking for a .50 cal 1:28 twist lapping tool for my rifles. I have several rifles that could use a good polishing and cleaning up of the rifling. All are 1:28 twist though I may get others in the future so who knows.

Thanks in advance.

P.S., I thought about making my own with lead and one of my current barrels but I really don't have a place yet to call my own so I don't have a workbench for something like a lead pot.

Every lead lap must be custom to the bore and cast in that barrel.

Depending on your situation you may see benefit from a tight fitting patch loaded with lapping compound. But with shallow, fast twist rifling you may wipe out its grip on a ball using this method too extensively.
