Kentucky rifle-Galef and Sons

I was looking at a .50 percussion long rifle the other day, it was like a Kentucky rifle, it was marked Galef and Sons on the barrel near the breechplug. Does anyone have any info? Otherwise, it looked like everything was hand fitted and stained, the barrel was plum brown, not blued, it was definitely not a repo from CVA or Traditions.

The company was an importer.

Some pictures would help the guys better identify its origen if they could see the proof marks and maker marks on the barrel.

I put it on layaway, should have it paid off by December and will post picks.
