Here are a couple of picks...buttplate, toeplate rough shaping and first scraping. Had to do some sketching of the minimal carving pattern for a bit of a break. :v

That's why I posted the pictures. I was amazed at how well the figure showed up in the photos at this stage...no finished scraping, stain or finish. I wish I could take credit for the wood, but all credit for that belongs to the man upstairs. :hatsoff:
