I was goofing around today and made myself a loading block for my two .36 rifles. I had a piece of purpleheart laying around left over from making some knife scales a few years ago.

I rough shaped it with a coping saw and made the holes with a hand drill and a 3/8ths bit. The holes are a bit wonky but not too bad considering the measurements were made using a pair of uncalibrated MK I Eyeballs Series 1964. I sanded it a bit to break the corners and said DONE!

When I got home and rubbed it with some Tried and True and fitted it with roundballs. I think it turned out pretty good! Good enough for the likes of me anyway.
