Darkhorse, where did you get the stand that is holding the front of your rifle? Brian
Brian, I misread your question. The front rest I use is a MTM Front rifle shooting rest. I like this one because it can also be used for pistols. I usually place a "nearly empty" sandbag with lead shot between the actual plastic rest and the forend of the rifle.

Another one that looks good is this one by Caldwell. There are a number of good looking front rests out there for under $100. these days. I like these because they are real light. For a strictly front bench rest that will only be used on a bench I'd probably go with a metal frt. rest.
