I am thinking very seriously about buying a cannon when uncle Sam gives me my money back. The one I am interested in is the small French and Indian war ,English ,swivel gun from Cannon Mikes. Are any of you familiar with this piece? If so,what is your opinion of it. Also how is Cannon Mike's ,as far as doing business, quality of products ,ect. I know I,m asking a lot but I wouldn't like to get burned on my first cannon purchase. Iwould appreciate any help you can give me.Thanks.

Well his Ebay feedback shows 100% positive with 242 transactions. I definitely would enquire as to what sort of steel he uses and how the trunnions are attached. You could try Powderkeg, he's a member here and does that sort of work.

I was looking closely at the trunnions, but I can't tell much from the photos on his website.
