Hi,
Just getting back into the hobby after a number of years, and I'd like to try building an early F&I period horn.
Suitable horns seem to be a little more scarce now, than they were back when life decided to get in the way.
I've found lots of places that have so-so horns, or horns that just aren't long enough, or the right kind of twist, etc. etc.
However, ... there's a couple of sites that seem to have posibilities.
I've heard some very good things about powderhornsandmore, ... but I've heard very little about black-bear-haversack.
Has anyone used horns from them? And how were they to deal with?
(Any other info on them would be nice too).
Other sources/suppliers of appropriate horn blanks would also be appreciated.
Thanks.
