50 caliber Hopkins and Allen under hammer. Approximately 32" barrel. Believe this is a Numrich Arms kit rifle. Bore is bright and shiny. Unknown twist rate. Very well balanced and accurate. I can hold this rifle on target for over 5 seconds, which is a lot of time. I fired this rifle twice at 50 yards with 60 gr 2f powder at a 5 gallon bucket. Hit the bucket both times. One low about 3 inches up from the bottom and one about 5 inches down from the top.
Asking $450 shipped

You wouldn't happen to know what the nipple threads are? And what type of payment do you prefer?

No I sure don’t know the nipple threads.
Also, is ir Ambidextrous and what is the barrel width across the flats?
The lands are 3/8”. If your question is it ambidextrous, I would believe so. There’s no cheek piece on the stock. There’s nothing that would interfere with shooting it left or right handed.

The Hopkins & Allen underhammer rifle is probably one of the very best muzzleloader rifles marketed.
With decent sights you will wreck havoc at most ranges you shoot.
I have had several through the years and marvel at their shooting ability.
I still have a .36 and love it ( NOT for sale! )
Yes it is a 100 yard rifle. Round ball and black powder has it's limitations.
But it is really rewarding to shoot one hole groups at 100 yds.
No other muzzle loader will ever compete.
The buyer got a bargain!

Many a time, I have heard " where did you find such an ugly rifle?" until the shooter finished up at the range.
Some even trying to outlaw the rifle as being unfair.

I still have my H&A 58 caliber underhammer that I may be interested in selling.I would probably ask around $550.00
plus shipping. My one concern is shipping as the gun is 49 inches long and may fit in a “cheap case from Walmart” as mentioned in the posted shipping instructions. The Walmart
add states the case is 49.75 inches inside which doesn’t
leave a lot of extra space.
If there is any interest there are pictures and history posted
under my profile.
