Hey all,

I have always been very interested in black powder firearms and the periods of American history that they are associated with. After being gifted an old Thompson Center rifle for hunting and learning to use it last year, my interest in them has really been sparked (ha!).

I am very interested in picking up a beginner flintlock kit to try my hand at assembling one. I am also interested in getting out to events relatively nearby to look at some real art pieces.

Excited to learn more from the knowledgable members of this forum!

Check out the 18th Century Market Fair on the 2nd-3rd of Feburary in Elizabethtown. Google Bucksnort Longrifles for more info, they sponsor it. There is usually some neat stuff for muzzleloaders there.
