My introduction to the shooting lifestyle was facilitated by a percussion muzzleloading pistol assembled from a kit over fifty years ago. This was followed by the acquisition and assembly of a Thompson Center Hawken. I still have both of those muzzleloaders. Since then, I have accumulated scores of centerfire and rimfire rifles and handguns along with four or five black powder cap and ball revolvers and a plethora of airguns. I handload for all my centerfires and have been a bullet caster for a couple of decades. I became interested in this forum because I'm on the cusp of buying a Kibler rifle kit ((probably a Woodsrunner) and value the wealth and depth of information/knowledge available on this site.
