HELP with Nipple thread size

I have 3 Navy Arms BP shotguns, 2-12 ga and a 20. ga. For what ever reason I stored them with the nipples removed. Now I can not find them. Can someone help with the correct nipple size, I have tried .250 x 28 and 1/4 x 28 they do not fit.

Try Track of the Wolf for metric nipples, 6x1mm or 7x1mm:

.250-28 & 1/4-28 are the same. Go to the hardware store and buy one each of 6x1 and 7x1 metric bolts. Try them in your gun. Bolts are cheap for identifying threads, mark them and store them in your toolbox. If these don't fit try different diameters and pitches.

There are some nipples (revolvers) that use a 6 x 0.75 pitch thread. Get that bolt too.
