This is what greets you when you park in my driveway. Weighs about 75 lb.

This is the rear of it. You may notice that it is cast iron, lined with steel pipe but the outer edge of the steel pipe apparently was not radiused causing a catastrophic failure. I bought it at a yard sale for $5.00. No my wife does not love it.

I think it’s awesom, I’d have that thing placed so that anyone that came to my home was aware that I had a cannon! I would have it placed for strategic fire on the driveway, a pile of lead balls and a ramrod next to it, let their imagination wonder about it.
 
Hope the owner (at the time it blew) was standing to the side!

If mine, I'd be figuring out a way to make it a breech loader.
