Harley, yes indeed,B.C.Wood.Painters Post,NY. stamped on it. My bro's a little more knowlogable in ML's and after careful scrutiny, he tells me both barrels have 1-48" twist. This means ZIP to me , please share what it tells you. I'd sure like to see a pic of your gun.
There is so much info here, gotta figure out a way to stop gettin sidetracked so often. later, Jim

If your gun has 1-48" twist it should shoot round balls very well assuming that the bores are good and that the gun is sound. Please have it checked by a competant gunsmith, have you determined that it is unloaded?
The next time that I get into the safe I shall take some pictures and try to figure out how to post them .

On second thought, that IS a reasonable question, all things considered. I have removed nipples, srayed a little carb. cleaner in holes and blew out with comp. air. I'm sure it is not loaded.
