It can be done safely IF YOU USE ONLY BP
10 gr 3f goex followed by 60 grains triple 7 for instance will make yer flintlock go bang quite nicely. Smokeless and black, in any minute quantities may just make yer flintlock go KABOOOOOM and split down the middle and wrap round yer head. :nono:
