hiddy ho to all,

picked up a nice long steer horn at a garage sale. it's nicely polished and is trimmed in brass at the large end. the small end is natural (no hole) ALSO FITTED WITH A LEATHER STRAP. if any one knows how to cut or install a mouth piece, i will sing your praises to the world forever and a day..

TIA and ..ttfn..grampa..

cut the tip off at about how big you want the mouthpiece, drill it out with a 3/8" bit, and work the end like a funnel, This is where a dremel with a small cutter and sanding drum come in handy. Then go annoy all yer friends at rendezvous! :rotf:

thanks stumblin.

if this horn works half as good as those strikers you made for me, i'll be tooting up the neighborhood in no time..

PS.. those strikers you made, make so many sparks, gotta wear gloves when using them..
